Sarah Bailey
I'm Sarah, a UX designer with a twist—I bring years of investigative experience from my days in criminal justice. With a knack for interviewing, qualitative research, and desk research, I uncover user insights that drive impactful designs. Let's turn data into delightful experiences!

Some of my work.
Hi, you found me!
My Process: Fixing Frustration, One Step at a Time
🔍 Step 1: Identify the problem – Is it confusing? Frustrating? Making users want to throw their devices? Let's fix that.
🗣 Step 2: Talk to real people – Because guessing is for game shows, not UX.
💡 Step 3: Brainstorm & Sketch – Big ideas start with messy notes (and probably a few bad drawings).
🖱 Step 4: Prototype & Test – Let users break it so I can make it better.
✨ Step 5: Improve & Repeat – Because great design is never really "done."
I thrive in collaborative environments, turning complex problems into clear, actionable solutions. Communication is my superpower—I bridge diverse perspectives, aligning teams toward shared goals with empathy and efficiency.
With 8 years of interviewing experience, I translate research into meaningful insights that drive better design. Crisis management? Been there, done that—grace under pressure is my default setting.
Outside of work, you’ll find me deep in a board game strategy, experimenting in the kitchen, or spoiling my dogs, Jax & Skippy.
Backed by a robust educational background and industry certifications, including the Google UX Designer Certificate, I'm dedicated to continuous growth, staying abreast of emerging trends through platforms like Uxcel, the International Design Foundation, and the Center for Humane Design.
"I'm just a gal, standing in front of a problem asking it to become a beautifully designed solution."
